4.1.09 After 6 weeks of operations in Haines, America SEABA is enjoying a little down time from a stellar Heliski season. We have had great conditions, fabulous 2% powder and an incredible weather run that helped us rack up a record 6 down days in 42 days of operations. To say the least the team is enjoying a little down time. We also want to pay our respects to the McConkey Family. In remembrance of Shane we closed our restaurant and invited all that knew him or of him in for a celebration of life and remembrance. It was often to look to the flat screen to see him hucking huge, tagging lines, and of course his awesome and ultimately humorous handle Saucer Boy. He was a treasure and set the bar for so many we will miss you Shane! Click on poster below
